Nonostar is re-releasing this collaboration between Ben Osborn & Nathan Micay as a downloadable 2-track single, with all funds raised going to Open Music Lab.

Ben Osborn's Letters From The Border drew on his own family history to reflect on the experience of refugees and migrants. His softly spoken poem - “When the fire swept over this continent / a host of sparrows rose from the broken things… blown over the border, into the unknown” - evokes a world of migration and change. Nathan Micay's astonishing musical response oscillates from a driving, industrial darkness to moments of bright euphoria.

Funds raised will go to Open Music Lab, providing free music education and opportunities to refugees and other marginalised communities in Berlin. On Friday 5th March 2021, Bandcamp are waiving their fees, so your donation will have even more impact. ... more
